I'm going to see my family today. I'm excited because I haven't visited with them in such a long while. I've been busy with my own family. I really miss spending time with them, especially because I know they could really use some extra support right now. They told me it hasn't been easy for them to go to all these meetings with the St. Louis bankruptcy attorney. They said what's getting them through it is knowing they'll have a huge financial burden off of their shoulders. I knew my parents never should've taken on my sister's expenses. I thought they would fully understand what co-signing a loan means. I know, for sure, they didn't expect to handle the entire bill for my sister's medical school expenses. She told them she only needed a little help. Then, all of a sudden, she wasn't able to pay for anything anymore. I don't think it's right. I never asked my parents for anything. If I had any kind of expense to cover I worked to be able to pay for it myself. I know medical school keeps a person busy, but I think she should see to it that she's employed somewhere. I really can't stand to see my parents struggling as much as they are.
