I'm looking forward to my double date this Friday!  I've never been on a double date before, but I'm intrigued. I'll be going with one of my close friends. She fixed me up with a Denver bankruptcy attorney. At first I wasn't too thrilled about that whole plan. I mean, when she first told me about it, I hardly knew anything about this guy. Reflecting on some of my past experiences, I really haven't had the best luck with that sort of thing. I like to at least say hello to a person first before committing to a date, you know? My knee-jerk reaction was to say “no” to the entire idea, but I had to admit that I changed my mind when I heard about how charming he was. She told me she had all sorts of stories that she wanted to share with me! We both had a considerable amount of time in our schedules the other day and we decided to meet for coffee and dessert after work. She was able to fill me in on some background information, so I wouldn't be completely in the dark. I went from dreading it to actually looking forward to it now. She also brought along his photograph to show me and now I don't know if I'm more charmed by the stories or by his face. I was surprised to feel some sort of attraction to this man already and I haven't even met him. I can't say that's ever happened to me before. I'm smitten!
